You can do the following

5. Take your physician's medication eg:anti-hypertensive or anti diabetic regularly.

6. You may wear your old glasses for the time being or dark glasses as per your comfort and eye guard at bed time for-7 days.

Keep note of the following:

1. Do not sleep on the side of your operated eye and avoid pressure on the operated eye for-7 days.

2. Avoid lifting heavy weights for-7 days.

3 be careful with small children as they may hurt your eye unknowingly.

4. Resume driving 2 wheeler or cycle after-10 days, resume driving a car whenever you are comfortable.

5. Do not discontinue the medicines prescribed by us without our knowledge.

6. Avoid rubbing or wiping the operated eye, you may dab the eye with clean cloth.

7. You may bend to pick up articles or in prayers.

General instructions:

1. Clean the eye once daily with sterile cotton wipes, as indicated by our counsellor

2. The person cleaning the eye or instilling the eye drops should wash hands thoroughly before doing so or use sanitizer.

3. While instilling the eye drops, pull the lower lid gently and instill one drop of the prescribed medicine.

4. Avoid pressure on the eye.

5. Avoid instilling the eye drops yourself (if you are not sure) ask your attendant to do it for you.

6. If you experience any of the following symptoms notify our office or an ophthalmologist immediately.

It is important that you should be aware of these symptoms :-

1. Any sudden drop in vision or blurring of vision.

2. Sudden increase in sensitivity to light 3. Any increase in redness of eye.

4. Throbbing discomfort or pain. If the pain is severe. Contact us immediately or your local ophthalmologist.
